Friday Five // What I'm Loving Right Now

NO. 1 OUTDOORS
Who wouldn't want to spend their summer gardening in this shed?! It's got English countryside written all over it and I'm in love. With the official shift towards summer, I've moved all my attention to the outdoors, and I'm on a mission to create a little shed of my own for planting and gardening storage. Let the potting adventures commence!
NO. 2 SMEG VINTAGE APPLIANCES
I know there's glamour in a new shiny stainless steel fridge, but lately, these vintage-inspired Smeg appliances have me all sorts of obsessed. I love the character they bring to a kitchen, and no matter what your style or color palette, there's a gorgeous shade out there for you. I'm beyond tempted to swap my current fridge out for one, stat!
NO. 3 CANE FURNITURE
Minnesota has only a short window of perfect weather, so I tend to want to soak it up every chance I get. That means I'm always looking for ways to incorporate outdoor textures in my indoor decor. I can't get enough of cane furniture right now for just that reason - it's visually simple, but it packs a major warm-weather/summery-textured punch.
NO. 4 RUSTIC VASES
Can't you just picture clipping a few blooms from your backyard garden and popping them in one of these beauties? It would give any table an instant dose of charm. There's something about the imperfections of a rustic vase that feels perfectly old world to me, and paired with a few contemporary decor pieces - like a coffee table with a modern silhouette - it's sure to turn heads.
NO. 5 SUMMER SANDALS
As a mama, I'm always in need of a comfortable pair of summer sandals because let's be honest, I gave up wedges and strappy espadrilles looooong ago. So, whenever I see a cute pair of slip-ons (like these from Sorel), I know they'll be my next go-to summer staple. Easy on and easy off is key - especially when you're chasing after a couple of boys!
