Friday Five // What I'm Loving Right Now

Right now, I’m loving all things home decor - especially pieces with ultra-timeless summer vibes. So, in celebration of it officially being summer, today’s Friday Five is all about stripes, natural materials, and dreamy landscapes. Because if being homebound for month 2,457 (jk) has taught me anything, it’s that surrounding yourself with beauty can instantly boost your mood. So, here’s to heading into the heart of summer - may your patio be refreshed, your cocktail glass be overflowing, and your sun hat collection be ever-growing.

  1. Bolé Road Textiles (Black Owned) 2. Bloom Hope Art (Black Owned) 3. Nomadic Citizen (Black Owned) 4. Johanna Howard Home (Black Owned) 5. Lolly Lolly Ceramics (Black Owned)

NO. 1 BOLÉ ROAD TEXTILES

After seeing these pillows, I'm dying for a decor upgrade. But seriously - can you even handle the gorgeousness of these prints? Classic, streamlined, and chic, the neutral color palette is guaranteed to go with any decor style, and the simple stripe motifs are beyond easy to layer together. Investing in one (or more) of these is guaranteed to elevate your home style to magazine-worthy. Who could say no?

NO. 2 BLOOM HOPE ART

Looking for a new piece of artwork to add to that gallery wall? Love a good landscape view? Then Bloom Hope Art is your new fave shop. Every painting is 100% original and if you purchase a charity painting, a percentage of the profits are donated to Welsh Women's Aid. Beautiful and supportive of a good cause? Sign me up.

NO. 3 NOMADIC CITIZEN

If there's one thing I can't get enough of when it comes to decor, it's baskets, and Nomadic Citizen's collection is stunning. If you love to travel and are constantly inspired by cultures across the globe, know that these pieces are all fair trade and handmade, with profits directly supporting the artisans in Indigenous communities worldwide.

NO. 4 JOHANNA HOWARD HOME

Inspired by her Swedish heritage and the clean and sophisticated lines in Swedish design, Johanna Howard creates amazing pieces that make everyday life marry style and function seamlessly. I'm currently obsessed with her deco throws and can totally picture myself curling up in one by a bonfire or laying one out for a lunchtime picnic. Summer perfection, would you say?!

NO. 5 LOLLY LOLLY CERAMICS

I'm a total sucker for a good coffee mug and handmade ceramics, and Lolly Lolly Ceramics delivers like no other. Her shop is currently on pause due to demand, but you can sign up for her newsletter to hear updates on reopening. I seriously can't wait for that day to come because I'm planning on snagging at least a few - after all, coffee definitely tastes better with a whimsical handle ;)
