Friday Five // Fuzzy Wuzzy

The weather outside is indeed frightful here in Minnesota with temps dipping lower and lower each day. But honestly, I can’t complain. After all, we did have a streak of unseasonably warm weather just a few weeks back. So rather than dreading the coming winter months, I’ve decided to go all in. This week, I’ve pulled together a roundup of some of my favorite fuzzy wuzzy essentials to make this season extra warm and cozy. From a must-have pullover to throws and pillows, you’re guaranteed to feel a-okay with all the indoor months ahead.

  1. Sweatshirt 2. Chair 3. Rug 4. Pillow 5. Throw

NO. 1 SWEATSHIRT

There's nothing more cozy to me than throwing on a comfy sweatshirt and curling up with a mug of hot cocoa. That's why I'm loving this half-zip number right now. Not only is it made of ultra-soft sherpa, but it comes in a gorgeous array of colors - from a soft pink to a bold buffalo plaid, it's sure to up your wardrobe (and comfort) game like no other.

NO. 2 CHAIR

If this chair doesn't make you want to lounge around all day by the fire with Christmas music in the background, I don't know what will. Designed by Amber Interiors, it's luxuriously soft, and its creamy white color makes it the perfect addition to any space. Worried about a long winter indoors? This chair is just about the best antidote around.

NO. 3 RUG

I don't know if there's anything better than sinking your toes into a plush shag rug (well, ok, sand at the beach is pretty good, too). But seriously - winter makes my floors all kind of cold and I'm always on the hunt for a gorgeous thick area rug to make it all a bit more cozy. The best part about this one? The grey ombre effect helps to hide any spills or stains, so it's totally family friendly.

NO. 4 PILLOW

Faux fur is definitely my jam, but teddy faux fur? Can't beat that softness, let me tell you. And while any Christmas-inspired pillow will look gorgeous thrown into the mix this time of year, I especially love this collection from Pottery Barn because it feels much more seasonal all around. No need to put it away come January - keep the warmth going all winter long!

NO. 5 THROW

In my opinion, there's no such thing as too many throws. And whether you toss a few over the back of your sofa or style a blanket ladder in the corner, it's always a good idea to have a few extras sitting around for those days when the temps dip below zero (eeeeks, I don't even want to think about it!). This one is beyond soft and stylish - once you curl up with it, you'll want to stay in that spot all day long.

What are your cold-weather essentials each year? Do you like to cozy up by the fire with a good book, or are you an ice-fishing, downhill-skiing, snow-tubing kind of adventurer? Whatever you love, we’ve got a long winter ahead - so let’s make the best of it. Cheers to snow-filled days and warm, snuggly nights!
