Looking for a way to spruce up your space?

Day 11 of the 30-day blogging challenge

Retail Rundown

Believe it or not, one of my favorite parts of the job is shopping. And I do a TON of it for my clients, whether we're accessorizing a space or staging for a photoshoot I find amazing pieces and great sources along the way. Every Saturday, I'm going to share my Retail Rundown so you can get a glimpse into the latest and greatest in the retail world.

Do you want to know one of my go-to secrets for making a space look bigger, brighter, and you can do it on a budget? Mirrors! Whether you're looking to upgrade your boring bathroom mirror, brighten up a hall, elevate a room's decor, or you need a spot to check yourself as you walk out the door, mirrors are your new best friend. Mirrors can be done on a budget (or not if you're looking to splurge), but you have to know the right places to shop. Today I'm sharing where you can find my picks and how to stay in the know.

First, follow me on Pinterest. I like to keep all my mirror finds on my Pillow & Decor Board. Check out some of my current favs and let me know what you think! Be sure to check back often, I’m ALWAYS updating with my latest finds.

Let's dive in!

Target

Ah, Target. My all-time favorite retail store, they have some beautiful mirrors readily available at the store if you're looking for a quick fix, but you can find some real gems online too if you have a few minutes to take a look. Make sure you're double-checking the measurements before you order, sometimes pictures online can be deceiving.

BALLARD

If you're not familiar with Ballard, they're a catalog and online retail store that sells furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, and goods for the home. They're usually known for their more traditional style, but I occasionally find funky or "fresher" looking pieces that blend well into an eclectic home. Give them a try for if you're looking for something unique.

Pottery Barn

I'm guessing Pottery Barn is a staple for anyone who decorates or shops on a regular basis, but I have to say this is one of my go-to's for mirrors. They have a vast selection online if you're willing to scroll and a wide variety of styles, which is why I tend to check them out often. The pivot mirror or medicine cabinet for the bathroom is a favorite, but I also like some of the vintage or antique looking mirrors.

WORLD MARKET

Another regular stop on my "retail rounds" is World Market; they have some unique pieces. If you don't live near a store, their website is excellent has an even more extensive selection! Most people think of them for their signature global look, but I've found some cool modern mirrors there too. When you think of mirrors, most people assume you mean for the wall, but don't forget about floor or leaning mirrors. They can really open up a room, try layering them with a chair and a plant!
