FRIDAY FIVE

Day 3 of the 30-day blogging challenge

Friday Five

Welcome to Day 3 of the 30-Day Blogging Challenge! If you're new to the blog, my Friday Five post has been a staple around here for a while and seems to be a regular crowd-pleaser. Every Friday, I pick 5 things I want to share with you. I like to keep it interesting so you might see trends, colors I'm loving, a little fashion threw in, and indeed a few random but noteworthy designs items I want to share.

NO.1

Pantone's 2020 color of the year is Classic Blue and I'm all kinds of obsessed. The best part about it? It's a color that looks good on anything - especially when it comes to home decor. I'm loving this gorgeous patterned wallpaper by Lulu & Georgia. It's bold, but classic - and that's the kind of style that'll last for years to come.

NO.2

Not ready to do a vibrant and colorful wall? Infuse a touch of Classic Blue into your space with a funky throw pillow. This one from CB2 has just the right amount of flair with its ombre tassels, but it still feels subtle and simple. I promise that adding a pop of blue to your sofa or armchair is guaranteed to give your space big time personality.

NO.3

Of course, you know I'm all about taking home decor and incorporating it into my wardrobe, too. I can't get enough of this ruffle babydoll dress from Madewell right now and I'm dying to add it to my closet. You can dress it up or down with a quick accessory change, and the ruffles give it the perfect touch of interest without going overboard.

NO.4

Hello, beautiful! Can't you just picture this gorgeous piece of artwork on your wall?! The abstract elements make it stunning as either a single feature piece or as part of a larger gallery wall installation. Plus, if you're as in love with Classic Blue as me, it's a great way to give this year's color a prime real estate spot in your home.

NO.5

Vases, ginger jars, and interesting tchotchkes are what bring life to a space. This year, pepper pops of blue into your decor by placing this beauty on a bookshelf or a side table. It's got a vibe that feels ultra timeless with a hint of vintage pizzazz, which means it's sure to turn heads (and will be a conversation starter, no doubt!).

What did you think, are you fan Pantone's 2020 color of the year Classic Blue? How are you going to use it, a dramatic wallpaper, or maybe just a pillow? Leave a comment below; I'm curious to know what you guys think!
