Happy New Year! New Year, New Beginnings
Happy New Year! It's only the first day of the year, and I already did something completely crazy... I decided to sign up for a 30-Day Blogging Challenge from Construction2Style. Have I lost my mind, maybe? I'm not sure if I was stuck in a post-holiday funk and thought this would motivate me to get a jump start on the new year or what. But none-the-less here we are, and I've committed to bringing you 1 blog post every day for 30 days. I'll be the first to admit I'm not a natural writer, but when it comes to design, I have much experience and a lot to say. What can you expect to see on the blog this month? Oh boy, LOTS! Everything from my style, current trends, where I find inspiration, a little DIY, some behind the scenes on my projects, and more!
I hope you'll follow along for the challenge and see what I've got in store for ya! I think you're going to like it. Don't worry, I'll still have the regular Friday Five posts, and I've got an excellent Industry Interview this month with Contract Flooring that I can't wait to share.

One To Follow
I've got some great people, places and shops I think are worth a follow. I'm always on the lookout for inspiration, whether its a designer, builder, architect, or a shop, restaurant, city, or hotel. There's so much to discover, and I want to share my sources for inspiration. Once a week I'll be featuring my pick for #onetofollow
Pinterest Round-Up
Speaking of inspiration, Pinterest is one of my most significant sources. I love to find design ideas, color combinations, interesting architectural details, and new sources for products, which is why I'm going to be doing a Pinterest Round-up every week where I share some of my favorite pins. Be sure to follow along here.
Retail Rundown
Believe it or not, one of my favorite parts of the job is shopping. And I do a TON of it for my clients, whether we're accessorizing a space or staging for a photoshoot I find amazing pieces and great sources along the way. Every Saturday, I'm going to share my Retail Rundown so you can get a glimpse into the latest and greatest in the retail world.
